These include the Old Gym, Auditorium Field, Turama, Climbing Wall, Strength and Conditioning Centre and the Hockey Turf.

Sports Facilities at Kristin

Old Gym

The old gym is an indoor-sports gymnasium located near the main entrance of the school. It has wooden floors, 6 basketballl hoops and is connected to set of changing rooms and a sports office, where most of the PE staff at Kristin stay. Some sports that are normally played here are basketball, volleyball and badminton among many others. Make sure to take your school shoes off before entering.

Auditorium Field

The auditorium field is a very large grass field located in the very front of campus right next to Albany Highway. On this field, there are many smaller amenities such as football goals, cricket nets and a beach voleyball court. This facility is suitable for outdoor sports such as football, rugby and cricket. Due to its size, it hosts some of the biggest sporting events at school such as Athletics Day and Cross Country.

Turama

The Turama is a new state-of-the-art outdoor covered sporting facility located right next to the auditorium field that was just recently finished 2 years ago. It features 3 full sized basketball courts which can be used for both netball and basketball. It is also often used for large scale meetings due to its size and shelter.

Climbing Wall

The climbing wall is located at the far end of the school close to the entrance from the bass road car park. This is a unique facility which provides students an opportunity to learn and experience rock climbing. There are 4 sections of the climbing wall, which are slab, vertical, chimney, and overhang for climbers of different skill levels. When using this facility, make sure you have a teacher supervising you at all times.

Stength and Conditioning Centre

The strength and conditioning centre is a located between the climbing wall and the hockey turf. It is Kristin's own fitness centre that comes witrh a variety of machines and weights. This facility is primarily used by Kristin's premier sporting teams and senior school sports classes.

Hockey Turf

The hockey turf is made of artifical grass (turf) and is located at the furthest end of the school. It is the size of a full field hockey pitch with 6 hockey goals and is used mainly for hockey. It comes will all the amenities needed to host a proper hockey match such as floodlights, dugouts, changing rooms and a pavilion.
